About Me
I graduated from Baker College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Communications and minors Liberal Arts and Web Design. Unfortunately, this only took web design so far and so I taught myself dynamic programming starting with PHP and later ASP.NET and Classic ASP. I took a few additional classes to learn database programming and I earned an extra Associate’s degree in Web Programming.
I worked for printers and book publishers along the way before I finally found my way into web development which I have done every since. In the past two years, I worked for Ciber, Inc., as a consultant and I have been placed with ThyssenKrupp Materials NA. ThyssenKrupp is the third largest producer of raw material in the world. My original assignment was to redesign their websites within their corporate branding standards. Now, I am mainly responsible for maintaining the websites as designer and the main administrator. Recently, I have began working on another project with Ciber developing a website for a scholarship for Michigan college students.
Outside of Ciber, I have a few clients of my own. These include Affinity Salon and Day Spa and Masters of Masonry.
